SUFFOLK, Va. — A middle school student has charges pending after Suffolk police say they brought a weapon onto school grounds on Thursday.
Suffolk police said King's Fork Middle School administrators reported a student was on school grounds on Thursday who they believed was in possession of a weapon.
A school resource officer responded and searched the student. They located a stun gun within the student's bag.
No injuries were reported, Suffolk police said, but charges are pending for the student, whose identity was not shared due to their age.
Suffolk police said they are continuing to investigate.
