STATEWIDE, Colo. (KKTV) - President Donald Trump has announced he is pardoning Colorado county clerk Tina Peters.
Trump made the announcement on Thursday just before 5 p.m. through Truth Social.
Former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters is serving an eight-year sentence in state prison after a jury found her guilty in 2024 of election interference charges.

At this time, Peters is in state prison on state charges. It is unclear what this federal pardon could mean for Peters.
