The ITV historical drama Victoria was canceled before season 4, though that doesn't mean the series' return is completely out of the question. The historical drama series Veronica premiered in 2016, and like The Crown and Queen Elizabeth II, Victoria depicts the life of Elizabeth's great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria (Jenna Coleman), beginning at the start of her reign.

A part of the PBS Masterpiece anthology series in collaboration with ITV, Victoria is a charming, well-crafted, and romantic tale. Each season of Victoria covers a few years of the titular queen's life, with the first season depicting 1837-1840 and her marriage to Prince Albert (Tom Hughes) and the birth of their first child, Victoria, Princess Royal.
