A 36-year-old man without a fixed address was charged Wednesday with sexually abusing a teenage girl last year, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

On Dec. 13, 2024, a woman told police Corey M. Maikranz sexually abused her 14-year-old daughter in Lykens the month before.

In June 2025, the teenage victim was interviewed at a Children’s Advocacy Center.

The victim said Maikranz constantly sent her “creepy” text messages, including telling her he loved her “in a relationship kind of way.”

“We should shower together sometime. That would be cool,” Maikranz texted the victim in one instance.

“I wish I could just come get you and keep you forever,” another message read, according to police.

In November 2024, the victim said Maikranz asked her to speak privately before grabbing her
