Sherrone Moore was moving like a man who did not care about being caught. Now, it has all blown up in his face. The once-promising coach was fired at Michigan. It was for what the school said was an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.

The school verified evidence of his relationship with the unnamed staffer. Athletic director Warde Manuel said the behavior “constitutes a clear violation of university policy.”

Social media has since identified the woman as Paige Shiver. She has found herself thrown into the public eye due to online rumors.

“U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately,” Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said in a statement.
