BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Bryan police responded to a crash at the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and State Highway 21 about 6:49 a.m., the department told KBTX.
Police said a Dodge Ram traveling west on State Highway 21 struck a vehicle on the eastbound side that was trying to turn north onto Harvey Mitchell Parkway in the left turn lane. Four people were in the Dodge; one person was in the other vehicle, police said.
Five people were taken to St. Joseph’s with non-life-threatening injuries, Bryan police said.
All drivers told police they had a green light at the time of the crash. Investigators are working to determine who actually had the signal, Bryan police said.
Both vehicles sustained major damage. The intersection has since reopened.
