It's transfer portal season.

The portal opens on Jan. 2 and remains so for two weeks, although exceptions are made for players who have coaching changes at their school, as well as players participating in the college football playoffs.

There is one significant change this season as the two-week window in January is the only transfer portal window, so there will be more players entering it now than in years past. There was previously a window in April as well that corresponded with the end of spring practice at most schools.

Since players cannot enter until January, this list includes players who have indicated on social media that they are doing so, and not players for whom there is only speculation .
