CONROE, Texas – A Conroe Municipal Court Judge is back on the bench after getting arrested and charged for driving while under the influence and illegally carrying a weapon on Wednesday, according to court documents from the Montgomery County Court of Law.
Judge William Waggoner was elected as the Conroe Municipal Court judge in 2022.
In October, he also announced his campaign for Justice of the Peace in Montgomery County Precinct 1.
But court records show Judge Waggoner has had his own problems with the law.
He has been arrested at least three times before.
