ATLANTA — A Fulton County jury convicted a 48-year-old man in a series of rapes that terrorized women in Atlanta’s Five Points and Underground areas.

The five day trial that began Dec. 4 concluded on Wednesday afternoon.

Christopher Harley was found guilty on all counts and sentenced to four life terms -- one for each victim after prosecutors detailed a pattern of violence that stretched across several months in 2022 and 2023.

The rapes, investigated by the Atlanta Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, occurred between August 2022 and March 2023.

In the months after his arrest, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation tested additional sexual assault kits, confirming new DNA hits that matched Harley.
