Tyler Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder, felony use of a firearm and obstruction of justice, among other charges, for the fatal September 10 shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk

The man accused of killing conservative political activist Charlie Kirk has made his first in-person court appearance.

Tyler Robinson appeared in a Utah court on on Thursday, December 11, and has been charged with aggravated murder for the fatal September 10 shooting of Kirk .

Other charges include felony use of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child.

Kirk was shot in the neck by while he was speaking at Utah Valley University.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
