Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man charged with the killing of US activist Charlie Kirk, has made his first appearance in court.

Robinson, wearing a dress shirt and striped tie, talked with his lawyers, and was at times seen smiling at his family members in the courtroom, in Provo, Utah.

Prosecutors have charged Robinson with aggravated murder in the shooting of the conservative activist on the Utah Valley University campus on 10 September. New Feature
