LANSING — The Ingham County Sheriff's Office said it's investigating a shooting that killed two people in Onondaga Township as a "murder-suicide."
Around 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, Ingham County deputies were called to the 5200 block of Walker Road in Onondaga Township for a reported shooting, according to a news release.
The Sheriff's Office said a man and woman "died in the shooting," which it described as "a targeted incident" in its initial news release. The office provided an update around 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 11, adding that "it is believed the shooting was a murder-suicide involving a husband and wife." No additional information was released.
There's no threat to the public, the office said.
