PROVIDENCE – How long or short the road trip is doesn’t seem to matter to the University of Rhode Island women .

So far, the Rams have looked right at home away from the Ryan Center, and Wednesday night was the latest example. They survived an extended rough stretch thanks to a strong finish and dispatched in-state rival Providence for the first time in three meetings.
