NEENAH, Wis. (WBAY) - Legendary Packers wide receiver Donald Driver and his foundation are helping give back to families in need.

That comes in the form of “G-Thank You” food certificates, providing local families the freedom to choose what they need most for their table.

“I understand what those families go through. I was one of those kids that didn’t have that hot meal. And someone gave me that opportunity, so my mom always told me in life, someone gives you an opportunity, you gotta give someone else one,” said Driver.

This year’s giveaway took place in Neenah, instead of Milwaukee, like previous years.

Also new this year was Driver’s appearance at the giveaway. He says he wanted to help families put a face to the name.
