Dear Coleen

I’m a woman in my 20s and I’ve been dating someone for a few weeks. ‌

He’s attractive and interesting, but he’s way too keen and it’s turning me off. I’m not used to this level of attention, especially so early on in a relationship. ‌

In fact, most of the guys I’ve dated i n the past have been the opposite – I was constantly trying to guess whether they were into me or not! ‌

So far, we’ve been away for the weekend together, I’ve met his colleagues in the evening for a drink, I’ve met his parents, his sister and the dog, and he constantly texts me.

I don’t know whether I’m overthinking this or being a bit ungrateful. My friends all think he’s great, but they’ve only met him a couple of times for a quick drink.
