Cash-strapped Birmingham city council has netted £2.3m after a string of quickfire Christmas property sales.

Six lots were sold during the auction by Bond Wolfe on Wednesday, December 10,

They included an old school site, a former d ay care centre and c ommunity day nursery.

The lots totalled £2,371,000.
