BOONVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We’re a couple weeks, into the boys high school basketball season, in Indiana. Over in Warrick County, is where we find the only unbeaten team, in the Pocket Athletic Conference: Boonville.
The Pioneers are off to a 4-0 start. They’ve definitely been impressive, thus far, with wins over Bosse, Harrison, Jasper, and North Posey. It’s the best start for the Pio’s, since they started 5-1, back in the 2019-20 season. They have a solid core of upperclassmen, led by Cash Willis and Jaxon McKain, who have been playing together for quite some time.
The Pioneers feel like they have a great chance to do something special this year, and they’d love to snap their sectional title drought, which dates back to the 2009-10 season.
