Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump on Thursday and said India and the US will work together for "global peace and prosperity." The telephonic conversation comes as India and the US are negotiating bilateral trade agreement.

"Had a very warm and engaging conversation with President Trump. We reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments," Modi said in a post on X.
