A group of youths assaulted staff members of a petrol pump in Moodbidri on Thursday evening.

The injured staff—Suresh, Maunesh, and Praveen—have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

A team of four youths arrived on two motorcycles and attacked staff members Suresh and others. It is suspected that the assault may have been carried out due to previous enmity, as the injured staff and the youths were known to each other.

Moodbidri police visited the spot and have begun an investigation.
