The festive season is officially upon us and with it, a time of heightened spending, feasting and socialising. Across the UK, people are flocking to pubs, restaurants, shops, bars, and Christmas fairs to soak up the holiday cheer and enjoy quality time with loved ones.
One of the most quintessential festive beverages - mulled wine - makes its annual comeback during this season. But with nearly every supermarket offering their own version of mulled wine, which one should consumers opt for?
To settle this question, I embarked on a taste-testing journey, sampling Sainsbury's , M&S, Lidl, Aldi , and Tesco's own-brand mulled wines.
