Police have issued an investigation update following a shooting that left a woman injured in Salford . A gunman is believed to have opened fire on a property in Wally Square last Thursday evening (December 4).

Greater Manchester Police believes a man arrived on the scene with another male on an electric bike. It is believed the offender then walked up to the property before firing the weapon.

A woman in her 20s suffered a minor injury in the incident. Three men have all been arrested in connection with the incident so far.

Two men, aged 24 and 28, were first arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and later bailed. Officers later arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of firearm offences.
