The Grand Junction girls basketball team is looking to have a bounce back season and continue to show growth from a team that finished 9-16 in 2024-2025. The Tigers bring back four seniors and junior Harper White, the leading scorer and rebounder from a year ago.

You might think head coach Mary Doane would want to rely on White and the few that came back to be leaders, but she sees the team as being different.

“We have got a lot of kids who produce for us,” said Doane. “I am looking at all of them, I don’t have one kid in particular and I think one thing we have is we have a lot of kids who can be a threat both offensively and defensively.”
