The Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday formally submitted the charge sheet in the mysterious death case of celebrated singer Zubeen Garg, marking a major step forward in the high-profile probe. The voluminous 3,500-page document, filed at the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court in Guwahati, is registered under FIR No. 18/2025.

The charge sheet was submitted by Rosy Kalita in the presence of SIT officials, as part of a team led by SDGP Munna Prasad Gupta, along with officers Moromi Medhi and Nab Dekai. The extensive compilation underscores the scale and depth of the months-long investigation.
