PESHAWAR, Dec 12: At least five policemen were injured after Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists attacked a police checkpost in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, officials said. The incident took place on Thursday night. The terrorists targeted the Shaikh Landak police checkpost, located within the Havaid police jurisdiction in Bannu district. A statement released by the spokesperson said that Fitna al Khawarij terrorists attacked the post late on Thursday night. Fitna al Khawarij is a term the state uses for terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
