Bhubaneswar : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for three Odisha districts, predicting cold wave conditions over the next two days.
According to IMD prediction, cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets over the districts of Angul, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi on December 13 and December 14.
Residents of these districts are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe during this period.
As per IMD’s latest prediction, a cold wave is expected to grip Odisha for the next two weeks, with possibilities of cold wave conditions prevailing in both weeks.
It is pertinent to mention that temperatures plummeted across the state. The lowest temperature was recorded in G. Udayagiri in Kandhamal district at 3.1°C, followed by Sem
