Balakrishna’s much-awaited action drama Akhanda 2 hit the big screens with paid premieres yesterday. Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the film serves as a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Akhanda. However, an issue regarding the film’s ticket pricing in Nizam has been under discussion in the Telangana High Court since yesterday.
According to the latest development, the Telangana High Court Division Bench has issued a stay on the orders passed earlier by a single judge in relation to Akhanda 2 ticket prices. Due to the legal proceedings, bookings were temporarily disabled on BookMyShow and other online ticketing platforms. Following the Division Bench’s stay order, theatres have begun restoring show listings with enhanced prices.
It remains to be seen how Akhanda 2 fares at the box office. Prod
