New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha, Jagat Prakash Nadda, is scheduled to make a statement in Parliament on Friday regarding a significant withdrawal from the Contingency Fund of India, the list of supplementary business of the Upper House said.

The withdrawal from the contingency fund was necessitated to meet crucial and non-deferrable payment obligations concerning imported urea fertilizer, following the exhaustion of the funds previously allocated for this purpose.
