Stunning images have captured one of the UK's most impressive Christmas light displays, featuring over 2,000 lanterns spread across more than a mile.

Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire has been attracting droves of visitors eager to experience their spectacular Lanterns Of The Wild exhibition since it opened on 14 November.

The display boasts over 2,000 carefully crafted and painted lanterns set within rainforest and marine settings, showcasing a myriad of creatures and plants - including the much-loved children's character, The Gruffalo.

Not only is this the world's first Gruffalo lantern experience, but it's also believed to be one of, if not the longest Christmas light trails in the UK, spanning over a mile.
