The Maharashtra government, in collaboration with Brookfield Corporation, will build Asia’s biggest Global Capacity Centre (GCC) worth an investment of over $1 billion, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Jio World Centre on Friday. The Memorandum of Understanding for the same will be signed soon.
In line with the state government’s ambition to make Maharashtra the “GCC-capital,” Fadnavis said the 2 million square feet GCC will employ 15,000 people directly and 30,000 people indirectly.
