: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to accelerating development in Manipur’s tribal regions while urging all communities to strengthen ongoing efforts toward peace and reconciliation in the state.
Addressing a public function in Senapati after laying foundation stones and inaugurating several developmental projects, the President said ensuring dignity, security and growth opportunities for Manipur’s tribal communities remains a “national priority.” She highlighted that the Union Government is working closely with local leaders, civil society organisations and community groups to ensure that development in the hill districts is both inclusive and sustainable.
