LANSING - Julia Miller, one of the founders of the nonprofit Punks With Lunch Lansing who was sued by the organization over claims of embezzlement and defamation, has denied those claims in a response to the complaint .

Miller's answer to the lawsuit was filed with Ingham County Circuit Court in early November. In it, she asserts that she never diverted Punks With Lunch funds and assets for her personal benefit.
