TALLMADGE, Ohio (WOIO) - Grief counselors will be at Tallmadge High School Friday, following the death of a senior.

According to the Summit County Medical Examiner, Logan Leighty was found dead in his bed Thursday by a family member.

The medical examiner added this appears to be a natural death and there were no signs of trauma or foul play.

Autopsy results are pending.

“It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share this news with our community. Tallmadge High School senior, Logan Leighty, passed away suddenly on December 11th. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with the Leighty family, his friends, and all who knew and loved Logan. We are all grieving the loss of a valued member of the Class of 2026.”
