SRINAGAR : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has decided to allot the centre of choice to all Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) appearing for its examinations, in a move aimed at easing logistical difficulties faced by such candidates. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp
Announcing the decision, UPSC Chairman Ajay Kumar said an analysis of five years of data showed that high-demand centres such as Delhi, Cuttack, Patna and Lucknow reached capacity early, often forcing PwBD applicants to choose less convenient locations. He said the new policy would ensure “maximum convenience and ease” for PwBD candidates by guaranteeing them their preferred centre.
