NEW DELHI: Four people have been charged with murder in the Zubeen Garg death case, Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe revealed on Friday. The singer's cousin and suspended Assam Police officer Sandipan Garg, has been booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the chargesheet. Shyamkanu Mahanta, Siddhartha Sharma, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami and Amritprava Mahanta are the four accused. Mahanta served as the chief organiser of the North East India Festival, which Garg attended in Singapore before he died under mysterious circumstances while swimming in the sea on September 19.
