STEWARTVILLE, Minn. — Stewartville Public Schools are closed Friday, December 12, due to an emergency at the high school campus.
School officials have instructed employees not to report to the campus Friday. A significant police presence, along with a Bureau of Criminal Investigation bus, has been observed at the high school.
The school urges everyone to avoid the campus until further information is released.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office has posted the following online:
"Deputies are on scene at the Stewartville HS and MS investigating a critical incident. School in Stewartville has been cancelled for the day."
