Kansas is entering a nuclear renaissance, and Lyon County wants in on the action.

Lyon County has already experienced the financial impact of nuclear energy firsthand following the construction of Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Station in Burlington in 1985. The influx of workers to the area brought about new housing developments and economic activity.
