A 19-year-old Pembroke man was flown to the hospital Thursday morning after he was thrown from the hood of a moving car during an altercation at his former girlfriend’s house in Duxbury , police said.
Shortly before 5:30 a.m., police responded to a report of an injured man in the road on Chandler Street, police said.
“Through interviews with several witnesses, officers learned that the individual had gone to his ex-girlfriend’s residence ... to confront her current boyfriend,” police said in a statement. “An altercation ensued, during which the 19-year-old appears to have jumped on the hood of a vehicle” before he fell to the ground.
A 911 dispatcher described the man as “breathing” and “in and out of consciousness” and said the car that struck the man was “no longer in the area,”
