Dunfermline have offered their full support to manager Neil Lennon following the passing of his father Gerry. ‌

The Celtic hero took charge of the East End Park side back in March, helping them avoid relegation from the Championship . Pars have made a decent start to the current campaign and currently sit just two points outside the play-off spots having collected 22 points from their first 17 matches. ‌

But in a club statement, the Fife club have confirmed that Lennon, 54, will return to Northern Ireland this weekend to be with his family and that number two Ian Brunskill and assistant coach Kevin McDonald will take charge of the team in Saturday's clash away to Queen's Park .
