Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday lost his cool when reporters asked whether he had been summoned by the Congress high command to Delhi amid the ongoing power tussle in the state.

"Nobody has called me or said anything. Did they tell you? Why are you unnecessarily asking whether they told me or called me?" a visibly furious Siddaramaiah shot back at the reporter in Belagavi.

The state recently witnessed a major political churn, with supporters of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar pushing for a change of leadership and urging the party to replace Siddaramaiah with him. It was speculated that the Congress leadership, which has maintained that the decision rests with them, would call both leaders to Delhi to resolve the crisis.
