Coming on the heels of other affordable housing developments, the City of Boise is planning on more to address the need for homes within people’s budgets.

Lauren McLean , mayor of the city, announced she would advance an additional $6.7 million more to help address housing affordability, one of her main goals during her five years in office.

“Investing in affordable housing is a clear indicator that we are advancing our highest priority: Making sure that every Boisean has a place to call home within their budget,” she said.
