As a self-confessed shoe addict, I've been very happy with growth of budget-friendly golf shoes in recent years. This has also coincided with a boom in popularity of spikeless golf shoes which has allowed brands to design shoes that can be worn both on and off the course - this now means half of my sneaker rotation also double up as golf shoes, helping me kill two birds with one stone!

More brands competing in this space is a victory for the consumer - we have more models to choose from but because the competition for out custom is fierce, it also means manufacturers are forced to keep prices low. It's a rare win-win for a sport in which it feels everything is becoming more and more expensive.
