The Scouse head of POP MART has said the store's arrival in the city is "incredibly special" to him. Peter Shipman, the managing director and head of Europe at POP MART, sees the opening as a thank you from the company to a city which has long supported Asian culture and his own personal journey.

Occupying a 6,200 square foot space on the upper level of South John Street, the new arrival is complete with "plenty of hot products, exclusive gifts, and so many surprises". The Beijing company is known for its character-based entertainment and designer toys.
