Merseyside Police has arrested 49 people in one of its "biggest operations" in the city. Yesterday, December 11, 250 Merseyside Police officers descended on parts of Knowsley.
A "60" strong fleet of police vehicles rolled into the area to "undertake a sustained and relentless offensive against criminals operating in our local communities," as part of a large-scale policing operation, codenamed Operation Vanguard, carried out in Stockbridge Village and Huyton on Thursday.
