CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ohio has 607 school districts — and a new study is daring state leaders to ask whether that sprawl is wasting money and hard-wiring racial and economic segregation into the system.

We’re talking about a proposal to dramatically redraw district lines in a way that promises big equity gains -- and likely, political backlash, on Today in Ohio.
