The team behind a highly regarded vegetarian dish and natural wine spot on Woodlands Road have announced that the grand opening of their new southside spot will take place this weekend.

On Saturday (December 13) and Sunday (December 14) Sylvan will be introducing their new La Cave wine shop on Sinclair Drive in Battlefield.

Colin Campbell and Jake Martell, who currently own Sylvan on Woodlands Road, have been working hard for months to transform the former Buona Forchetta spot, which failed to get off the ground, into an exciting new space.

Opening at 44 Sinclair Drive, across from French Monkey, the event will run 12 pm until 6 pm both days, with the team on hand with wine and beer for sale, and pouring free samples.
