FARGO — Fargo Public Schools has announced who will lead the combined Horace Mann Elementary School when it opens in fall 2028.

According to a release from the district, Leandra Ostrom will serve as principal of the new school, which will combine the Horace Mann, Roosevelt, and Madison elementary schools into a single building.

Ostrom has been the principal of Horace Mann since 2017 and will continued to be the principal of Roosevelt Elementasy School while the new building is being constructed. She began her employment with the district since 2001, working over the years as a special education teacher, student performance strategist and administrative intern, according to the release.
