January deadline to apply for upcoming avian, Grand Canyon exhibits

The Herberger Theater is inviting Arizona artists to apply for upcoming exhibits.

The first theme for upcoming shows is an avian exhibit. Birds have long been symbols of beauty, freedom, fragility and power, according to a press release.

“We invite artists to explore the rich and diverse world of birds through visual art,” the theater states. “Whether through literal depictions, abstract interpretations, or symbolic representations, we seek work that captures the essence of avian life in all its forms.”

Also, a Grand Canyon exhibit is planning to celebrate the National Park’s ever-changing landscape.
