LABOUR have lost more than 100,000 members since the General Election – and more than half their total since before Keir Starmer was appointed leader.

The leaked figures, reported in The Times , state that Labour have fallen below 250,000 paid-up members. Before Starmer became leader, they had more than half a million and were the largest party in Europe.

The last public update showed Labour had 333,235 members at the end of 2024. They had around 370,000 members at the beginning of that year, and 532,046 at the end of 2019 under Jeremy Corbyn .

The dramatic fall in Labour’s membership numbers suggests that Nigel Farage ’s Reform have overtaken them as the largest party in the UK.
