Next year will mark 25 years since the Sept. 11 attacks, an anniversary set to come as researchers learn more about their ongoing health impacts.

A new study from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has found that post-traumatic stress disorder may be linked to accelerated brain aging among World Trade Center responders.

Two of the study's authors — Megan Horton, a professor of environmental medicine at Icahn Mount Sinai, and Dr. Michael Crane, medical director at the World Trade Center Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence at Mount Sinai — joined NY1 anchor Shannan Ferry on "News All Day" to discuss their findings.
