LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Phil Snow is in his 48th year of coaching. He brings experience and knowledge to the profession, and the Huskers are leaning on both qualities ahead of the Las Vegas Bowl.
Snow is serving as Nebraska’s defensive coordinator for the December 31st game against 15th-ranked Utah. He was appointed to the position following the dismissal of John Butler.
“If we can have 11 guys out there that know exactly what they’re doing, we can live with the consequence,” Snow said.
Snow said he’s not changing Nebraska’s defensive scheme for the bowl game. However, the coaching changes have resulted in some shuffling across the coaching staff.
